I'm sitting here in the mothers' room at church rocking Kiki and I thought I might do something to make myself feel useful. The speaker doesn't work in here, so I don't have a way to hear what's happening and experiencing praise songs through lip reading just isn't as inspirational.
So, we made it...I was worried we wouldn't, but we are alive and well. The trip was super long and the girls were very sick of the car after two days of travel. In fact, we walked to church today. Not really, but I thought about it. Thank you for your prayers. They definitely worked!
The trip was made doable because we spent the night with the Baughmans and made two days out of it. It was wonderful. It's always a treat to see them. Lila is even more perfect in person. Rosie fell in love with her. In fact, she said, "I love that baby very much." I have some pictures to post, but since I'm writing this on my phone, I'll have to do that later.
I headed to bed last night at 8 pm which I haven't done in years. It was wonderful. I'm thinking of trying to make that my new bedtime while I'm here.
Well, by the looks of things, church is over, so I better run.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather. I saw your mom's post and Dave talked to Mark at the office this week. Also sorry we weren't able to have you in Florida to visit, but so glad to hear your made it to Oklahoma safely with the girls. You're a brave woman to do that all by yourself! Praying for you and your family. Hope to see you soon.
