Sensory Bags

We had a great day spending time with friends.  We got home right at nap time, so Rosie wasn't able to have her "school" time and she was crushed.  I know it sounds like we are doing something really formal, but really we spend about 10 to 15 minutes a day doing very informal activities.  I don't want to push her or burn her out, but I also want to make our time at home fun and enriching.  So anyway, she was so sad to have missed it, so we did a really easy activity that both her and Kiki enjoyed.  We added cheap hair gel and food coloring to gallon sized plastic baggies and sealed them.  The girls then used their sensory bags to practice writing and drawing.  Well, Rosie did that.  Kiki just tried to eat it.  I should have seen that one coming.
