Hey, Bud!

Today was beautiful outside.  It was truly amazing and we had to get outside.  We played in the back yard and we went for a long walk in the neighborhood.  I'm so excited for Spring!  I took a few pictures on my phone.

 Rosie kept her hand on Kiki's head during most of the walk.  It was really sweet.

Tonight we've been working on the guest room.  We didn't get as far as we had hoped.  Painting stripes requires a lot of prep and I really despise prep.  Taping has taken a LONG time.  Maybe one day this room will be finished.

I did put a third and hopefully last coat of paint on the chest.  I'll have to see what it looks like in the morning.  I'll post some pictures as soon as it is finished.

Rosie has been saying some of the funniest stuff lately.  Today, she came up to me and started patting me on the back.  I looked at her and smiled and she said, "I love you, Bud."  I have no idea where "bud" came from, but I laughed out loud and it is now permanently in her repertoire.  In fact, tonight as we were putting her to bed, she said, "Goodnight, Bud!"   I guess I'm "Bud" now.
