Yesterday had to be one of the longest I've had. I was up early with the girls and then I jumped right into unpacking, organizing and putting things away. If I wasn't doing one of those things, I was either feeding or holding a child.
Rosie was extra needy and whiney yesterday, so that made it pretty stressful. Also, Mark had work and then a meeting until after 9pm. I was never so glad to have adult contact and I was never so tired when he walked in the door. I ended up working until I had unpacked every box downstairs (not counting the garage). Now, the stuff is not all put away, but its out of boxes, so I feel pretty good about that.
I was so exhausted when I climbed into bed last night and was so looking forward to a good night's sleep, but sadly that didn't happen. Keeks was up quite a few times in the night and so was Monroe. Of all nights! Keeks had been sleeping from 9pm until 5:30am lately, so you can see why I was surprised to have to be up three times with her!
Mark had a seven o'clock meeting this morning and both girls woke up at 6:55. I brought them both in bed with me where we rested until 7:45. Then my day began again with breakfast prep for Rosie.
I kind of feel like I am still asleep, but I'm pretty sure I'm not. Who knows though, I could be a sleep blogger. All I can say is, TGIF!
