The Keekster's Stats--Month 4

Today I took Kiki to her doctor's appointment.  I just adore her doctor.  She's an amazing lady and is very knowledgeable.

Kiki is doing awesome.  The doctor still couldn't believe that she was preterm.  She just went on and on about how great she is doing.  That definitely made this mama very relieved.  Her weight gain was great and she said that she's thriving on breastmilk.  She said that she was developmentally ready for solids if I wanted to start her, but since she was pre-term it might be best to wait until five months.  She now weighs 12 lbs 13 ounces (18th percentile) is 25 inches long (62nd percentile) and her head circumference is 16 inches (22nd percentile).

The only bad part of the visit, was the shots she had to have.  Those are never fun.  It breaks my heart every time.  Why do those needles have to be sooooooooo long?!
